Google Finance

The charts that Krider built and I extended are better than Google Finance’s charts. That’s for damn sure.

    I kind of like the interface actually. It’s clean, simple, and functional. I like how the timeline shows links to news stories.

    The one thing I don’t like is that the URLs suck. Instead of having the symbol in the search result URL, they have some kind of internal id. Which means you always need to type a search in rather than being able to directly address a URL by typing the symbol in.

    Really? That’s unlike them (not allowing for a permalink).

    I agree that their interface is *much* cleaner that some of the competitors, especially Yahoo! Finance’s. Note that I don’t dislike Google Finance. It’s just that my charting software is so much more rad than Google’s that you’d crap your pants if you knew the full extent of it.
