Now The Man works for Me

Stephanie, The Kid and I got the keys to our new place today. (Photo Set) Needless to say, we’re both quite tickled about this. The house is in Monrovia, about three blocks from old town. We’re moving this weekend. Woo!

   AWESOME! And the preceding yuppies already did the whole “lick off the lead paint with deadly chemicals” thing. It looks great. When’s the partee?

   Indeed. None of the inspections turned up any of that crazy old stuff, which is quite pleasing. (Although I’ll note that from what I can tell we’re the closest thing the house has ever seen to young urban professionals.)

   If I had to guess partee-wise, I’d say some time early next year. (Perhaps a Burns Supper housewarming?) We’ve just got way too much to do with the wedding and what have you between now and the end of the year.
