The Plantation at Cracker View Junction
This snarkalicious guide to suburban Denver subdivision names is hilarious and then some. It’s not just Denver either. Suburban Kansas City is lousy with these places. I’m guessing the redonkulous names are there to put in some differentiation, as all of these damn places are exactly alike.
If I had to pick a favorite combination from the list, I think it would be “The Hearth at Spring River Run.” What’s your favorite tacky Denver subdivision name?

I think I’m going to have to go with The Summit at Mountain Falls Landing.
Or perhaps the something at something gulch highlands (alternatively valley highlands, but I just like the word gulch).

Awesome. You know what: I change my mind. I think I like “The Quarters at Thunder Eagle Ranch.” I would love to live somewhere where they use to raise real thunder eagles!

This one was at the main site and made me laugh like an idiot at work. “The Foreclosures at ARM Regret” There it goes again. People are starting to stare….

How about the perennial favorite “Invesco Stadium at Mile High”?

I thought that was cool, although one should keep in mind that it’s only in the suburbs. I kept laughing when I saw words form together to spell out places I’d actually go for gigs.
Pasadena’s new development names are so boring by comparison. ;)
