(Some people &lt;a href="http://www.scalzi.com/whatever/005182.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;feel otherwise&lt;/a&gt;.  Their loss, I say.)  A place like that has to have better Kooks than the Nixon library, which is absolutely kook-tacular.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Somehow I don't think they meant their museum to be visited for its "ha ha, look at all the crazy people" entertainment value.  Oh well.&lt;/p&gt;

I mean, Christina and I had a blast when we went to the Focus on the Family visitor center on a random trip to Colorado Springs.  The trick is to sign up someone of whom you're not a big fan for the organization's mailing list and volunteer phone list while you're there.  The ensuing pain that person experiences generally makes the trip worth it.&lt;/p&gt;
